"As a respected leader in the electrical contracting industry,
Richard Flanagan and Company is committed to achieving
continued growth for our key stakeholders."
This is achieved through the implementation and delivery of industry best practice
safety measures, a dedication to service excellence and highest level surety of
outcome."
Founded in August, 1987 by Richard Flanagan, the company’s
mission was to become the most highly respected and quality driven company in
Queensland. Now,
after 20 years of participation and service to the building, construction and
engineering fraternity of Queensland,
there is no doubt that Richard Flanagan’s vision has been achieved. The
first project carried out by Richard Flanagan and Company (RFC) was the Bond
University Building FO1. From there, RFC quickly grew to complete such
notable projects as:-

Whilst the foregoing list of projects is not exhaustive it gives an insight into
the ability of this well respected company. Many of the projects listed were
completed on a design and construct basis, further illustrating the diversity of
the staff who make up RFC.
Training has always been one of Richard Flanagan’s passions. He believes in
what some may now see as an old fashioned view ‘that one should leave the
industry in better shape than one found it’.
Living up to that philosophy, RFC has trained over 160 apprentices who were
directly employed by the company. In addition to that, many traineeships were
offered to clerical staff and as many as 5 existing adult employees from diverse
backgrounds completed their electrical apprenticeships with the company.
On 1
st September 2006, RFC joined Pacific Services Group Pty Ltd
(PSG) in order to benefit from the strength of a national group, which will
better allow the company to take advantage of the rapidly expanding Queensland
market.
